··· ··· ··· ··· "If Only" (Quartet) from Disney's Broadway, The Little Mermaid, by Alana Menken, performed by Kari Erickson, Joe Dobbs, Marcus Patten, and Caleb Baldwin for a Banks Street Players performance. Story: “If Only” is a quartet between Ariel, Eric, Sebastian, and King Triton, a part of the cast recording The Little Mermaid. In the song, Ariel longs for Eric to realize “the voice” is hers. Eric longs to find “the voice” but doesn’t want to lose Ariel. Sebastian longs to help Ariel make her dream come true. And lastly, King Triton longs to find his daughter and show her that despite everything, he loves her. ----- 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹) is an Ithaca College in New York student pursuing a BFA in Musical Theater. In 2019, she was named Miss River Cities Outstanding Teen and placed in the top 10 at Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen pageant in 2019 and 2020. In addition to her singing and pageant successes, Kari has also been involved in the performing arts. She was a Stars Over Alabama Talent Winner in the 13 & Up category in 2020 and has served as the Chapter Secretary of the International Thespian Society since 2018. She was also a winner of the Talent Watch Virtual Showcase in 2020.
