Kid Fire Sausage Pizza
Ingredients:
4 oz Sweet Italian Sausage
1 Sprig Rosemary
1 Each Naan Bread
4 Tablespoons Pizza Sauce
½ Cup Shredded Mozzarella
3 Leaves Basil (sliced thin)
½ teaspoon Lanes BBQ SPG (Salt, Pepper, Garlic)
Method:
1. Stabilize your grill at 350- 450F. Install a cast iron griddle or soap stone at the highest setting of the divide and conquer system.
2. Slightly oil your grill grate and begin to cook and render your sausage. Once the sausage is cooked, rub some fresh herbs in the fat on the cooking surface. Remove the herbs and toast the naan bread in the herb seasoned sausage fat. Once it is toasted, spread the pizza sauce over the top. Next add cooked and crumbled sausage then top with shredded cheese and return to the grill to crisp the bread and melt the cheese. (Dome Down roughly 2 minutes)
3. Remove from the grill and top with some more Sausage and sliced Basil. Season with SPG, cut into slices and enjoy!
