In this message series, we’ve looked at Jesus the Hero: the Son, King, Healer, Teacher, Lover, Servant, Sacrifice and Lord. How has your understanding of Jesus changed?
When we talk about Jesus the Lord, what parts of your life are easier for you to surrender to him?
Read Romans 10:9 and Romans 6:9-11. Discuss what these passages say about Jesus conquering death and sin. What does this mean for you? How does it give you hope for the places that are harder for you to give over to Him?
How are you connecting with God regularly to live from him as your source? What helps you surrender to him when you find yourself fighting the urge to be the boss?
What practices do you need to put in your life to walk it out?
