Sun Volt Systems fully automated a quality control, deburring, and stacking process for steel tubes used in the production of washing machines.
Raw steel tubes enter the system at a rate of one per second. After the quality control process, tubes are automatically deburred, picked by a robot, and placed in steel totes 40 tubes at a time.
The filled totes rotate 90-degrees and discharge to the stacking zone to be removed by fork truck and out of the system.
