My architectural journey: Kengo Kuma and Associates, Bjarke Ingels Group, Effekt and UCL'
Andrea Terceros, born in Bolivia, studied architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart in Germany and at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy.
She later worked at Bjarke Ingels Group and Effekt in Copenhagen and at Kengo Kuma and Associates in Tokyo. She was part of multiple international projects and competitions.
After her time in Japan, Terceros moved to London to pursue her Masters's Degree in Architectural Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture at the UCL, where she and her team won the B-Pro Silver Medal Prize. She studied with a fully funded Chevening Scholarship.
Currently, she is based in Bolivia, where she recently opened her own architectural firm ‘A.TE Arquitectura’ where she aims to use her knowledge of Japanese and Scandinavian architecture, and apply it to local South American materiality.
