Blessed is one who does not follow the advice of wicked
And on the path of sinners does not stand
Who does not stay in the gathering of scoffers
But instead delights in the ADONAI'S (LORD'S) teachings
And meditates on those instructions day and night
Such a person is like a tree planted by flowing waters
Which bears its fruit in a proper time and its leaves never turn
And such a person succeeds in everything... (Translation by Pinchas Shir)
Psalm 1 describes two paths, two choices, two directions that one can take in life. If you are on Hashem's path be strengthened. If you are not, wake up! The first three verses describe the path of the righteous. Let these ancient words speak to you wherever you are.
