They talk about why it is very important for the gear and transmission oil to have the correct extreme pressure (EP) properties as this is where the power is being transferred to do its various jobs of work in the vehicle. Adrian also explains the latest 2-in-1 gear and transmission oil which protect components against high shock loads in limited-slip differentials (LSDs) and ensures positive engagement in wet braking systems.
