eNCA Fake doctors are back in the news following the exposure of social media personality Matthew Lani. Gauteng Health has laid a criminal complaint against the man. It says he claimed on social media to be working at Helen Joseph Hospital. But, the problem is even bigger than the TikTok influencer.
In the last 3 years, over a 120 people were arrested for pretending to be registered doctors. The HPCSA found most fake doctors operate in the private sector. Let's discuss this with SA Medical Association Chair, Mvuyisi Mzukwa. #DStv403
