Max is a pretty cool dude and a master of the “Western folk” tradition - his songs are beautiful stories and feel timeless. When he covers a tune, like his version of “Tall Buildings”, he has this ability to lock into the “heart” of a song like very few can. We’re big fans here and it’s a joy to have him back in the rotation with “Good Friend”.
Always the traveling troubadour, you can catch a Max Gomez show in any number of places around the country this year. As always, try and see these great songwriters live, it’s the best way to support them and their music.
