The late Tony Walters was born in Cleveland, Ohio, son of a professional jazz muscian. I worked with him on many sessions, gigs, and on my solo albums. His credits include touring with Diana Ross for 4 years, Tina Turner, Sting, George Michael, Toto, Robbie Williams, The Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue, Michael MacDonald, Brenda Russell, Kenny Loggins, Natalie Cole. I also produced 4 duets with one of Tony’s biggest fans, Michel Legrand.
I later produced an album we were both very proud of, “Lucky to Be Me”. Because of his great session skills, and because he could read music, I did an a cappella arrangement of the beautiful Chaka Khan/Bruce Hornsby song “Love Me Still”. Enjoy this beautiful track from a superb singer, a great colleague, and a dear friend.
