14 Acres of Wildlife Heaven in Montana This young color phased Black Bear has climbed almost 20 feet up this tree and decided to check out the camera up close and personal. It managed to tear off the plastic camoflauge camera wrap but doesn't seem to have damaged the camera. It will have to be worked on though to tighten everything back up and realign it. The location is very steep and rugged. One might notice that the little bear has lots of debris in it's coat which tells me it's been rummaging around in thick brush, probably feeding on greens and insects. It's looking pretty thin so it best get busy eating something other than cameras!
