Cruisin' Around Talladega Superspeedway

Alexander1485 I was to find out a friend of mine showed (totally surprised me) up for a car show (The Preservation Heritage Event) at Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama (only been to this track two other times, earlier in the year for the Museum [International Motorsports Hall of Fame] and early in the 2000's for a NASCAR race, either 2001 or 2002, I think Talladega 500, not sure).
The friends name is Tim and he and his buddy Mark were going to do some track sessions in Tim's 1966 Ford Mustang 289 4-speed in Arcadian (AKA Baby Blue) blue with factory knock off hubcaps he nicknames the "Grocery Getter" and asked if I wanted to join and I obviously said yes, signed the waiver and was their passenger for 4 sessions (tires were getting a little worn and fuel was getting below a quarter), sat in the back seat for 3 of the 4 sessions and the front seat for the last session (2 or 3 laps each). There were tons of challengers, some mustangs (a 2012 Boss 302 Mustang), a Nissan Skyline GTS-T R33 and a late 1950s Ford Fairlane to name a few, probably about 50-100 vehicles during the different sessions, maybe 15-20 in one at a time.
Note: both side windows were down so thats why there is some wind buffeting.
