It is possible that the original foundation of the Kaaba is in Petra, Jordan, the original city of Ishmael. This foundation has the same dimensions as the Kaaba in #Makkah and is located much closer to where the Torah describes Abraham and Ishmael as being located. Petra is a wonderful place to visit and there is so much to see here. You can walk right into and around many ancient and beautiful Nabatean and Byzantine structures. In the last few years, however, the Jordanian government has singled out this one structure and built a fence around it. Why is it so special? Is this the original burial place of Ishmael and #Hagar?
