Between April 1971 and September 1972, a serial killer kidnapped and murdered six African-American girls from Washington DC and left their bodies by highways on the Prince George's County Border or just over it. The age of the girls ranged from 10-years-old to 18-years-old. The case has odd clues that should have led to the killer, but, somehow he was never arrested. There were a number of suspects, but no resolution so it would seem. Who was the Freeway Phantom and were there only six victims? If there were, why did he stop after only a year and a half?
