Following President Bola Tinubu's promise to revise the minimum wage every three years, organized labor leaders stated they have accepted N70,000 as the new minimum wage.
Tinubu declared N70,000 as the nation's new minimum wage for laborers on Thursday.
At a meeting at the State House in Abuja with representatives of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the president declared the minimum wage.
The NLC president, Joe Ajaero, stated in a statement following the meeting that the offer was accepted because the president had committed to a three-year review.
