In this video, I respond to Suan and Ben's argument against the claim that apostolic teaching is intrinsically infallible. The reason this matters is because, if apostolic teaching is indeed infallible, then we have a historical target as Protestants by which we can establish infallible, inspired teaching: namely, that which issues from the apostles. In the video, I neglected to mention that the use of John ("the Spirit will guide you into all truth") cannot do the work Ben wishes it to do, since that clearly doesn't mean the church will be guarded from any error whatsoever. So all of us will have to make interpretative decisions as to what exactly that means. I argue that *apostolic* infallibility is indeed taught both by Scripture and tradition.
