Subject: Irregular Admission of Students by Global Academy
TNTEU has received a letter dated 02.08.2024 from the Under Secretary, University Grants Commission (UGC), regarding the irregular admission of students by Global Academy, a distance education bureau based in New Delhi.
The UGC has informed TNTEU that Global Academy is admitting students without proper verification and allowing them to appear for exams without attending classes. This is in violation of UGC regulations and the norms of TNTEU.
TNTEU has filed an FIR with the Kerala Police against Global Academy for these irregularities.
