Fintech firm offers motorbikes on credit

Kenya CitizenTV Asset fintech firm Watu Credit has come under scrutiny after some boda boda riders accused the company of allegedly stealing the motorbikes they offer on credit once a customer has cleared the loan. On its part, Watu Credit says that some unscrupulous customers tend to exploit the system as they offer replacement bikes if one from its customers is stolen. Watu credit country manager Erick Massawe says they have put systems in place to ensure that all customers on the platform are protected
