Since I began performing video game music on Twitch, I've gotten to meet a wonderful intersection of musicians from both the game music world and the contemporary percussion world. My first encounters with Steven were in my Twitch chat, and I actually didn't know he was a composer until he approached me with this piece! I'm always excited to see composers writing new works for percussion, and I'm happy he engaged me to record this work.
Instrument: Adams Robert Van Sice Artist Series 5-octave marimba
Mallets: Vic Firth m113, two m114s, and a m115. I play Vic Firth sticks and mallets.
