UDA Secretary-General Cleophas Malala has claimed that foreign investors and NGOs are behind anti-Finance Bill protests. However, he did not provide any evidence to back the allegation.
He also defended the controversial proposed law, saying it aims at promoting local production by imposing high taxes on imported products.
He also read the riot act to Kenya Kwanza MPs opposing the Finance Bill, saying ideals of the party are supreme to personal thoughts.
