Folks are heading to the beaches on this Fourth of July weekend to cool down as some inland areas of the Bay Area will face another day of triple-digit heat.
Meteorologist Frances Dinglasan ABC7 said a Heat Advisory remains in effect until 11 p.m. Sunday. This means heat illnesses are possible and a reminder not to leave people or pets in cars.
If you’re heading to the beach, the water is colder than normal, the National Weather Service said. So unprepared beachgoers may get cold water shock.
