Networking MENNEKES Professional charging systems – here's how it works!

MENNEKES Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG How can the MENNEKES wallbox AMTRON® Professional and the AMEDIO® Professional charging column be networked to form a charging infrastructure and be integrated into the home network? We show you how to install, network and configure our charging systems with ease. All you need for configuration is a laptop with administration rights and a USB or Ethernet cable.
To network the AMTRON® Professional, first the USB to Ethernet adapter provided must be installed in the wallbox. The AMEDIO® Professional charging column is supplied with an integrated Ethernet port. To connect multiple Professional charging systems to form a network, the devices must be connected in a star configuration to a central router or switch via a shielded Ethernet cable. The maximum cable length of 100 metres and the maximum number of 100 charging points must not be exceeded.
All charging systems in which the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) charge controller is installed can be networked and operated in a charging infrastructure network. The easiest way to set up a charging infrastructure is to use the ECU as a DHCP server and network the charging stations via a switch. In addition to the option of setting up a local network for the Professional charging systems, the charging systems can also be integrated into an existing network.
