Host Michael Hingston visits the home of Jana G. Pruden. Jana is an award-winning writer who’s been penning longform stories about the prairies for more than two decades. Jana shares her love of non-fiction books about journalism and a pulp fiction novel about a "girl reporter".

Jana G. Pruden is an award-winning writer who’s been penning longform stories about the prairies for more than two decades. In 2013, her story “Fear on the Family Farm” was named one of the best true-crime stories of the year by Slate, and has now been read by more than a million people around the world. Her story “Persepolis Found,” meanwhile, became the loose inspiration for Kevin Smith’s 2016 film Yoga Hosers.
