Rajkummar Rao on upcoming film ‘Srikanth’ 'People haven’t seen such story on celluloid before…'

The Economic Times Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao and director Tushar Hiranandani joined ANI for an exclusive interview for their upcoming film ‘Srikanth- Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne’. The movie is based on the life of Srikanth Bolla, an industrious figure who triumphed over adversity to achieve success despite visual impairment. The biopic drama will release in the theaters on May 10, 2024. Other than Rajkummar Rao, the biopic drama will feature Jyothika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar in significant roles.
While talking to ANI, Rajkummar Rao shared, “This film is very inspiring, beautiful and people haven’t seen such story on the cinema before”.
Following this, he added that audience really wants to see such movies. He shared that the role was very challenging for him as he hasn’t done this type of role before.
Director Tushar Hiranandani said that disabled people are thanking him after seeing the trailer and he is feeling overwhelmed.
