Follow me on my journey to build a huge RC military cargo airplane - the C-160 Transall. I was a pilot of this wonderful bird for 10 years and now I'm gonna build a scale model 1:10. That means:
4.0m (13ft) wingspan
3.2m (10ft) lenght
1.2m (4ft) height
25kg (50lbs) weight
electric powered
all selfmade from scratch out of wood - I only have a blueprint!
I must admit I undererstimated the amount of work to build 5 pieces for elevator, rudder and ailerons. Also measuring positions and mounting the hinges, as well as glueing some parts a second time. Cargo doors will come in the 11th part - I promise! :-)
