i'm Senya, 8 years old.
— handwritten by some kid's hand on a piece of paper, attached near the entrance to the church. It can be seen on 10 second of this music video, which was made by Eva Makoveeva, a student of the sixth grade of the now-gone Kharkiv Gymnasium №46. Eva wrote a beautiful song about her city, school, and faith in the victory of Ukraine. Here is the brief translation of lyrics to English made by me:
"Dear Kharkiv"
I lived in a peaceful city, in happiness and harmony,
But the butchers came to our land to destroy it.
On February 23, I sang songs at my school
But now I know that my school is gone.
People, save our city from this war,

I want to walk by our Freedom Square,

I can't see these horrors anymore.

So, the new school year is approaching so quickly. So many Ukrainian students, just like Eva, will find their schools destroyed by invader's rockets, mines, bombs and artillery.
Recent days it got worse. We have numerous new victims of predatory russian shelling at dormitory in the same Slobid district of the city, where Eva school was also located. It happened three days ago (news in Ukrainian: https://times.kharkiv.ua/2022/08/18/z-pid-zavaliv-gurtozhitku-u-slobidskomu-rajoni-harkova-vryatuvali-shistoh-doroslih-ta-dvoh-ditej/), and day earlier they shelled another dormitory, inhabited by people with hearing disabilities. City mayor, Igor Terekhov says it's worst days since war started.
This is why we need to get as much defense as possible. This is why friend of mine, Oles', is aiming at getting first-class air reconnaissance multi-copter to pass is to defenders of Kharkiv.
