Are you afraid that your dividend growth portfolio isn't set up well for an upcoming economic recession? Check this video to learn how I have been preparing myself to understand the risk in my portfolio.
But good news first, if you have a dividend growth portfolio, then there is a high likelihood that you will outperform a recession. At least if we take Morningstar's article into consideration and if we look at it from a historical perspective.

Secondly, we care a lot about our dividend safety! The good news here as well: corporate credit ratings and how they are assessed align a lot with the typical analysis we do as well.
Hence, in this video, you will see how I'm using corporate credit ratings from Moody's, Fitch, and S&P Global to assess my current dividend growth portfolio.
It showed me how much of my value and dividend income is exposed to lower-grade credit ratings and it allowed me to drill down deeper into some of my individual stocks.
