In week 2 of our July Sermon series " More Than A Song", Pastor Eddie delves deeper on how to worship God and how to approach God when we bring an offering to Him.
Again we looked at the different attitudes of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4: 1-8; Cain and Abel both brought an offering of the works of their hand as an offering to God, they did not come empty handed and neither should we.
The important thing to remember is that our attitude to the offering or worship is extremely important. Cain believed he had offered his best but was upset and then graduated to sin when he
learnt that God had rejected his offering. We give an offering of our time, talent and
treasure but what God really wants is a heart that is right with him
