Shocked, exhausted, overwhelmed: Temple tornado victims brace for more storms, ongoing recovery

(#KWTX) - A week after an EF-2 tornado ripped through West Temple, residents, business owners and crews continue to face challenges.
“I keep coming here to look at it so I can process what happened,” Hansy Howard, a Temple resident, said.
The tornado destroyed Howard’s local business, a pet grooming shop and boutique, and the house she lives in. She said the last week has consisted of cleaning out debris, branches and damaged belongings as well as trying to contact insurance companies and contractors.
“The last six days, we’ve had about 10 hours of sleep total, taking care of the house and the shop,” Howard said. #TempleTexas #TempleTornado
