Stage Divers(e) - Forum für JugendTheaterKultur Four hot days in the south of Germany and in October! Watching theater, making theater, living theater with artists from all over the world in Esslingen. That was THEATERWELTEN 2022! Last year, the pandemic situation led to a special digital edition.
From October 13 to 16, 2022, groups and actors from the Philippines, Ukraine, Chile, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Lebanon, Germany and Israel came to Esslingen. We had many encounters with theater people from all over the world, saw performances, did workshops and met a symposium "Theater and Safe Spaces". The time was marked by many emotional moments.
For THEATERWELTEN 2022 we welcome as artists in presence the artists* of the groups Seenaryo from Beirut / Lebanon, La mona Ilustre from Santiago de Chile / Chile, Be our guests theatricals from Manila/Phillippines, theatre studio 11 from Kiev / Ukraine, Elisa Medina and Nacho Cárcaba from Acapulco / Mexico, IYASA from Bulawayo / Zimbabwe, die Schotte from Erfurt / Germany and the youth theater project Neue Wege II from Esslingen.
