gfcbeautiful 1. The story of Job in the Bible is challenging. So many questions come from God allowing this man to be tested and experience pain and loss. When you think about your own pain and loss, how have you processed it with God?
2. God meets Job where he is; he cares for Job in the midst, and he carries Job and sees him through the storm. How have you experienced God’s presence in your life during a pain or loss? How has he met you, cared for you, or carried you?
3. Job was honest with God about what he was going through because he feared God. What does it mean to fear God but not be afraid of God?
4. Job 42:5 says, “I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes.” Share your experience when you went from hearing about God’s power and presence to experiencing it. Is there an area you are asking God to meet you in right now?
5. Read Job 1:1. This is what God said about Job. What do you desire God to say about you?
