Today I'll be going over how I would upgrade a stock AK to both accept a light and optic, in a way that wouldn't break the bank.
I've been using AK's for a while now, upgrading every AK I've ever owned, each in a different way.
This includes trying out different muzzle devices, hand guards, gas tubes, dust covers, grips, side rails, and stocks.
I've tried everything from triangle side folders with a pool noodle attached for a better cheek weld, to the latest and greatest from Sureshot USA and Midwest Industries.
Point is, I've tried a wide variety of different AK setups, and have a pretty solid understanding of things that work....and things that definitely do not.
Today I'll show you some of the attachments I've tried out in the past and have had good success with, to upgrade this stock KUSA KR-103 into a respectable fighting rifle.
