An underwater camera must have looked quite delicious to one fish in the Australian Coral Sea, as the creature was seen in June 9 video attempting to swallow the recording device.
The unusual sight was caught by Dean Cropp, and shows a saddletail grouper swimming towards Cropp’s camera. The fish opens its mouth and attempts to swallow the whole object before retracting.
Cropp published the footage to his Instagram account where he asked, “Would you ever want to see the inside of a fish’s mouth??”
