CBC Vancouver A Filipino cultural celebration spanning several city blocks was held in South Vancouver on Saturday. The Lapu-Lapu Day event was the first of its kind in the city, recognizing Filipino heritage and the first Filipino hero, and the CBC’s Michelle Gomez was there.
