AFP News Agency General Laura Richardson, commander of the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), arrives at the Carondelet Palace in Quito, Ecuador. A US government delegation, led by Special Presidential Advisor for the Americas to Joe Biden's administration, Christopher Dodd, is beginning a three-day visit to discuss plans for security cooperation between the two countries.
