My THIRD bottle of Bruichladdich with a broken cork! I am DONE buying from this distillery until they stop using corks! Corks are useful in some red wines to help them mature in the bottle but they serve ABSOLUTELY no purpose in a bottle of whisky. The high alcohol content in a bottle of whisky breaks down the cork so that it slowly dissolves into the bottle and eventually it will break when trying to open the bottle.
