Mick Fanning states he would be happy to never compete once again after surviving a shark strike throughout a surfing event at Jeffreys Bay in South Africa.
The unmatched assault was relayed live on tv with Fanning extremely appearing unscathed after he "punched him in the back".
The shark approached ominously from behind as Fanning sat on his board, before launching at him.
"I was simply resting there as well as I really felt something simply obtain embeded my leg rope, and I was kicking, trying to get it away," Fanning said afterwards.
Fanning appeared in shock and also muddle-headed for words as he attempted to describe the strike.
"I was almost to begin moving and after that I really felt something grab [and also] get embeded my leg rope. And I immediately just hopped away as well as it simply kept coming with my board. I was just begun kicking and shrieking. Wow!
