Sarah's Covenant Homes houses 83 mentally and physically handicap children that have been abandoned by their families for various reasons. Some Hindus believe that it is a curse on the family when a child is born with special needs, but often times the families just can not afford to take care of the children. They are left in hospitals under false names, one little girl was found in a cemetery and a man that found her took her to Sarah's Covenant Homes because he knew that they would take care of her, another girl (who is blind) was left on the side of the train tracks at the age of 5 wrapped in a blanket....... these kids are usually found and taken to the Government run orphanages, but because of their special needs they are often forgotten about because a lot of them can not walk or move around at all, their diapers are not changed, they are malnourished at the Government orphanages. Most of the kids that Sarah's Covenant Homes has have been taken from the Government orphanages because they are close to death, and with the proper care... could be happy and healthy children (which is the case when they get to Sarah's Covenant Homes!!) This video is real, true, and URGENT. There are kids that Sarah's Covenant Homes is wanting to take in and take care of that are at these Government orphanages malnourished and needing a lot of LOVE and care to bring them back to life to be honest. Sarah's Covenant Homes needs to raise $20,000 to be able to take these children in and care for them the way that they should be cared for!!!
