Bundesministerium für Gesundheit The brutal war of aggression waged by Russia against Ukraine has not only left countless people with life-changing physical injuries but has also caused immeasurable psychological wounds. A comprehensive approach to both physical and mental recovery forms a crucial foundation for capacity building in all aspects of Ukraine's future reconstruction.
This is why the Ukrainian-German Conference on Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Rehabilitation will take place in Berlin on February 2nd, 2024. Be part of plenary sessions and speeches of i.e. Svenja Schulze (Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development), Prof. Karl Lauterbach (Federal Minister of Health) and Viktor Liashko (Minister of Health, Ukraine) and many more.
The conference is part of the German Platform for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, an initiative of the German Federal Government to facilitate the contribution of German actors to the reconstruction in Ukraine. The conference is organized in cooperation with Ms. Elke Büdenbender, the wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Federal Ministry of Health, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development together with Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and
BG Kliniken, which are supported by the Hospital Partnerships funding program.
