Pope Francis has abjectly failed in his responsibility to use his office as Vicar of Christ, refusing to stand against tyranny and injustice. Instead of leading a coalition of Catholic nations to help Ukraine liberate itself from unprovoked aggression, Francis has blamed NATO expansion for the war. Meanwhile he concluded a deal with the devil known as the Chinese Communist Party, selling out Hong Kong and abrogating Holy See Sovereignty for clergy appointments to Xi Jinping.
Contrast this with Pope John Paul II, the greatest Pope of the modern era. A Pontiff who, leading by example, stood bravely against the occupational tyranny of the Soviet Union, supported and inspired by liberation movements around the world. Meanwhile he demolished Marxism, conclusively shooting down any confusion between 'the poor' and 'the proletariat' with respect to Christian Doctrine.
Crispin explains how the policies of Pope Francis are critically undermining the Sovereignty and reach of the Holy See, while diminishing it's moral standing before the whole world. After years of justified battering for the Church's abuse revelations, Putin's invasion of Ukraine gave the Vatican an option shot in front of goal but Francis never connected with the ball.
