Alexis von Roenne, a Christian, was a very high official in Hitler’s Nazi Germany, but he was an anti-Nazi. Humanly speaking, he may have helped General Eisenhower, the Allied Forces, and Operation Overlord far more than any mere human realized. Operation Overlord was aka the Battle of Normandy. He helped Hitler divert away from Normandy to Calais. He was the head of the intelligence department responsible for evaluating ALL information pertaining to Britain and the United States and was likely “the single most important person in German Intelligence … Von Roenne gave Allied counterintelligence an enormous advantage.” Had this key Christian not done what he did, one wonders if Hitler might have won the war. God had this servant (son-by-adoption) Alexis in place to defeat Hitler. He was arrested by the Gestapo, tried by a Nazi court, and hanged to die on a meat hook.
