First, we can capture it in terms of four major plot movements: creation, fall, redemption, and new creation. Second, we can describe the unfolding of God's eternal plan from creation to the new creation through the progression of the biblical covenants.ndeed, the Bible begins and ends with depictions of streaming water. From the Garden of Eden a spring bubbles up to form the source of four rivers that water the earth, the Pishon, the Gihon, the Tigris and the Euphrates (Genesis 2:6-10).That plan depends upon an understanding of the four areas or “fields”: evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and leadership development (see the Four Fields of Kingdom Growth). These four fields of work are understood to be the definition of gospel ministry or kingdom work.
