2024 Nissan Rogue (X-Trail) - Now a light facelift
Nissan Rogue received exterior and technology updates
Also known as the X-Trail in other markets, the Tennessee-built mid-size crossover has received a light facelift with updated bumpers and a fresh take on the signature V-shaped grille with a more sophisticated design. At the rear, the inner graphics of the taillights have also been changed.

In addition, the badges now have a satin finish, and the Rogue in SV trim gets new 18-inch wheels. The Platinum trim comes with new 19-inch alloy wheels and gloss black body accents.

For the 2024 model year, there are new color choices: Deep Ocean Blue Pearl, Baja Storm, Everest White Pearl and several two-tone colors with a contrasting black roof.

More significant changes can be found inside the cabin, where the Rouge is the first Nissan to feature built-in Google services, which comes complete with a five-year warranty. The services are available in conjunction with the updated infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the SL and Platinum trims, and also integrates the following services: Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play. They can be accessed without connecting the smartphone to the car.
Android Auto or Apple CarPlay can be used via a wired connection on the S and SV trim levels, while wireless connectivity is available on the SL and Platinum versions. The two lower trim levels have a smaller eight-inch touchscreen for the base infotainment system. All four trims have SiriusXM, but the SL and Platinum have SiriusXM 360L with more content available, including Pandora.

Devices can be charged via the two USB-C ports standard on the S, while the SV, SL and Platinum get two extra on the rear of the center console. SL or Platinum versions come with a wireless charging pad mounted in front of the gear lever.

Regardless of trim level, all Rogue models come standard with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety system.

There are no changes under the hood and base versions of the Rogue are powered by a three-cylinder 1.5-liter unit. The Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) engine is available from the 2022 model year, when it replaces the old 2.5-liter unit, increasing power and torque by 11 percent and 24 percent, respectively. The power is 201 hp. and is sent to the road via a continuously variable transmission, which was also updated for the 2022 Rogue for faster, smoother shifts.

The 2024 Nissan Rogue will go on sale in the US early next year in S, SV, SL and Platinum trims, with pricing to be announced closer to launch. The base 2023 crossover retailed from $27,910 for the front-wheel-drive S to $38,990 for the all-wheel-drive Platinum.
