Ukrainian kids love to fly with their drones above their beloved country and film it’s beauty. But they can’t do it now, war is there. This is why kids donated their drones to defenders of the freedom, life and democracy in Ukraine. Just like boy from this video — his drone is already serving, but people of Ukraine need more, and more advanced machines, to STRENGTHEN AERIAL INTELLIGENCE.
Ukrainian defense forces at the front are constantly improving.
Physically and technically, they upgrade their skills, learn to use new technologies and the latest equipment. They take courses offline and online, getting certified. Preparing for today's challenges and constantly changing conditions.
It's obviously the issue of survival for us, Ukrainians, because it's OUR brothers and sisters out there right now, — while we're here helping them or getting ready for our turn, and if their defense should fall, we are next in line.
That is why we are also improving, looking for new ways to help, trying to prepare everything for the front as best as possible and as quickly as possible.
And here it is, a new raised bar, for which we mentally and informationally prepared for a week, because now it's not just a thermal imager, not a DJI Mavic, and not even a pickup truck, — but something with value as much as three pickup trucks.
This is the DJI Matrice 30T MULTICOPTER.
Why this choice?
First, because it can work in strong wind, rain, frost and extreme heat: -20 to +50 c.
Second, because it's able to take pictures from a distance that cannot be reached by invader's Electronic warfare. And take pictures with a thermal imager, which is included in the kit, with the help of a laser rangefinder, which is also built-in.
Third, because it can fly high (up to 5-7 km) and long (up to 41 minutes) and quickly restart for a new flight, so in a set with 8 batteries it can work almost continuously.
And the main thing is that defenders know this beast, have experience working with it, and they are sure that this is what they need in order to provide even more efficient and high-quality data for the victory of good will and freedom.
Friend of mine, Oles’ (link to his post below) spoke with the commander of the air reconnaissance of the 228th battalion, who actually issued this request. Among his arguments "why is this necessary" was the story about the aerial reconnaissance, which had to come out of cover to guide the artillery and covered the entire unit with "hail", — there were deaths, unfortunately. Therefore, the 200x zoom factor and the 48MP sensor are what will protect and save our people.
In fact, we are already at war with technologies and devices. And, unfortunately, the occupier also delivers anti-drone guns to the front and has been using expensive complexes for a long time.
And our position is that we should do everything so that our losses are devices, but not people. We know more than one story, — how the unit, which was almost busy with hiding under fire, with the advent of aerial reconnaissance, which gave the coordinates of the artillery, began not only to move freely, but also to pile on the enemy a little bit. The better air reconnaissance works, the better life is for the entire front line. It’s not enough to just make it work; it should be on par with the enemy's systems and be similarly equipped.
The advantage of a strong people support is that there are many of us and we are proactive, so just like they are at the front - we take on tasks that have not been solved before and we deal with it in the end. Because who but us?!
So, our GOAL is: €16,500
It is "full combat stuffing" (+8 batteries + memory + additional propellers).
The price is confirmed by several sources.
Fortunately, we already have some progress of 50+% of total amount.
