Jason Dunn The least used Monk subclass, here is a Way of Shadow Monk Build Guide in Baldur's Gate 3! I think that the open hand monk mixed with three levels of rogue thief is one of the strongest builds in the game, but this is another useful option because you have many Ki points and can move around the battlefield quickly. Double points if you have a Warlock on the team as there is some synergy between classes with darkness.
The best part about Baldur's Gate 3 is how much you can roleplay with these classes, and still beat the game with any class. The Monk is a very underrated class, most people don't get to experience them until the end of Act 2
