Singapore enhances investments in growing local workforce and company collaborations

CNA Singapore is doubling down on investments to grow global leaders from its local talent pool, and boost collaboration between larger and smaller firms. For example, the new Global Business Leaders Programme (GBLP) gives Singaporean middle to senior managers who are nominated by their companies the opportunity to take on overseas postings. These are part of longer-term efforts to tap on global opportunities and achieve economic growth, even as foreign direct investments reached S$2.9 trillion last year. Nadirah Zaidi reports.
