EKPORO YESTERDAY AND TODAY
EKPORO people have left their ancestral home for the past nine (9) years, going decade now.
On December 18th 2020, Evang. George Nein led a team of Voice of Eleme Women to the community EKPORO to pray as God in his heart. He prayed and fasted with the Voice of Eleme Women and other members of Prayer Ground Ebubu calling on God to intervene and return EKPORO, he prophesied that EKPORO must return home by the grace of God, and he said that EKPORO community will be remembered, few months from the day of his prophecy.
No longer than the month of prophecy, EKPORO was remembered by Rivers State Government. Fund was released for the rebuilding of the houses with over 40 flats of two bedrooms each (with soak-away pits attached) completed and more still in the process including several boy's quarters available for the Youths
Today the people of #EKPORO are set to return back to their ancestral home, Glory to God!
