Sixteen strangers face a grueling 14-day journey through the treacherous New Zealand Alps, aiming to reach the peak of a distant mountain. Each carries a share of $1 million, but only those who survive the dangerous terrain, brutal Antarctic winds, and intense challenges will win the prize. Along the way, they must navigate eliminations and harsh decisions enforced by the "Mountain's Keeper," who introduces unexpected twists. As they struggle to maintain morale and relationships, the group's biggest challenge is to stay united and reach the summit on time—failure means losing the entire prize.
