The Bible tells the story of Lazarus, a friend of Jesus, who was raised from the dead by Jesus after being sick and buried for four days. Lazarus had two sisters, Mary and Martha, who sent a message to Jesus asking for his help. Jesus said that Lazarus' sickness would not end in death but would show God's glory. Jesus ordered the stone covering Lazarus' tomb to be removed and called him to come out13. The story is found only in the Gospel of John, chapter.
