I got to blend my OWN WHISKY!? 🤩
I got the chance to attend the Whisky Blending Experience at @copperrivetdistillery . It all kicks off with a distillery tour, but the nice touch was that you actually get one of the distilling team members that take you on the tour! This means you can ask any technical questions you have about the distillery or the process they go through when making the whisky and hear it 'straight from the horses mouth'.
You then get taken through a tasting of their core range of whiskies, followed by the blending experience. There's flasks, pipettes, beakers, it makes you feel like your back in a science lesson haha. You get different cask samples to select from, each with its unique flavour and once you've created your whisky you even get to bottle, label and take it home!!
I'll upload the full video later on this week but just wanted to thank Naomi, @vartaksaumit for inviting us down and taking us through the experience, it was fantastic!!
